Selena Gomez atua tão bem quanto canta, e isso não é novidade. Seu último papel como Mabel em “Only Murders In The Building” lhe rendeu o prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia do HCA TV (Hollywood Critics Association TV).

Foi a 2 edição da premiação mais importantes da televisão americana. Os votantes são críticos de televisão, membros da Hollywood Critics Association.

Além de Selena Gomez outro ator do seriado levou prêmio de Melhor Ator em Série de Comédia (Streaming), Martin Short. O evento não contou com grandes atores entre os presentes, mas Short enviou um vídeo de agradecimento.

“A princípio, eu gostaria de agradecer à Hollywood Critics Association por esta amável e incrível honra que vocês me ofereceram. Na verdade, está difícil expressar o quão animado estou em receber este prêmio, porque o botox está recente, mas irei lhes contar. Trabalhar em “Only Murders in the Building” tem sido inacreditavelmente fabuloso em termos de criatividade para mim, já que pude trabalhar com meu amigo genioso Steve Martin; quero dizer, meu Deus, o homem faz mágica e toca banjo.
