‘’Life On Mars?’’, de David Bowie, alcançou a primeira posição. Seguido por ‘’Let it be’’, dos Beatles. ‘’Tangled Up in Blue’’, de Bob Dylan, completa o Top 3 da listagem.
A curadoria ficou por conta do jornalista, músico e crítico Neil McCormick. Ele menciona grandes clássicos, como “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”; “Imagine”, de John Lennon; e “I Will Survive”, de Gloria Gaynor. Porém, também, traz hits contemporâneos bastante marcantes, como “Empire State of Mind”, de Alicia Keys, e “Rolling In The Deep”, de Adele.
Aliás, em se tratando de recorde, a banda britânica, The Beatles, é a que teve melhor desempenho no ranking, já que apareceu seis vezes, com: “Let It Be”, “Hey Jude”, “In My Life”, “Something”, “All You Need Is Love” e “Help!”.
