Depois de divulgar o lançamento de seu novo disco, intitulado “Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2”, o DJ escocês Calvin Harris lançou o clipe de “Stay With Me”. A faixa também fará parte do novo disco do artista. Harris divulgou a novidade em todas as suas redes sociais, além de compartilhar uma imagem ao lado dos três parceiros da nova música, a cantora Halsey, Justin Timberlake e Pharrell Williams.

Com cores bem quentes e vibrantes, o clipe é um dos projetos mais promissores para este verão, com uma vibe super energética, cenários marcantes e muitas luzes na presença dos quatro artistas. O single está inserido no disco que sucede “Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1”, de 2017.
O quinto álbum de estúdio de Calvin também concretizou colaborações com grandes artistas, como Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Big Sean, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Young Thug, Jessie Reyez, PartyNextDoor e Snoop Dogg.

O projeto recebeu críticas extremamente positivas e estreou na segunda posição do UK Albums Chart e no Billboard 200 nos Estados Unidos. Assim, há muita expectativa sobre a nova produção, que será lançada por completo dia 5 de agosto pela Sony Music, via Columbia Records.
Além de “Stay With Me”, o produtor divulgou a faixa “Potion”, que tem parceria com a britânica Dua Lipa e Young Thug. A música teve ótima recepção dos fãs e já ganhou lugar de destaque em muitas playlists. A canção veio a público na sexta-feira, dia 27 de maio, assim como o videoclipe oficial.
Com a voz inconfundível de Dua Lipa, acompanhada de Young Thug, a canção desenrola um swing extremamente agradável. "Dua Lipa é minha pessoa favorita para trabalhar; a voz, a ética de trabalho, as brincadeiras, me sinto muito sortudo por ter conseguido fazer isso com ela!", afirmou Harris.

Adam Richard Wiles conhecido por seu nome artístico Calvin Harris, é um DJ, produtor musical, cantor e compositor escocês. Nascido em 17 de janeiro de 1984, o profissional começou sua carreira ainda adolescente, quando começou a se atrair pela música eletrônica. Em 1999, Calvin começou a gravar demos em seu quarto, com o equipamento que comprou trabalhando para um supermercado.
O álbum de estreia do artista, intitulado “I Created Disco” foi lançado em 2007 e veio recheado de influências dos anos 80. Logo de inicio seu projeto já foi um sucesso, estreado na oitava posição do UK Singles Chart. Pouco tempo depois, ele divulgou uma música que viria a ser a primeira a ocupar o topo das paradas inglesas. “I’m Not Alone” faz parte do segundo álbum de estúdio do escocês, e foi tão apreciada que tirou a infame “Poker Face”, de Lady Gaga, do primeiro lugar.
Nos dias de hoje, o produtor tem reconhecimento internacional e já esteve bem classificado diversas vezes nas paradas da Billboard. Assim, não é surpresa informar que Harris já recebeu 18 indicações ao Brit Award, como Produtor Britânico do Ano e Single Britânico do Ano em 2019. Além de ter sido indicado cinco vezes ao Grammy, vencendo na categoria de Melhor Vídeo Musical em 2013.
