Charlie Puth lançou hoje (24) “Left and Right” sua nova parceria com Jungkook, do BTS. A faixa conta com 2 minutos e meio. O áudio foi disponibilizado primeiro, o clipe, algumas horas depois.

Em 2018, os dois cantores já haviam realizado uma parceria. Os artistas cantaram juntos na apresentação da premiação sul-coreana MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards a música Fake Love.

20 minutos após seu lançamento, a faixa já teve mais de 500 mil reproduções nos streamings. No YouTube os números passam do 1 milhão e meio. As visualizações do clipe já superam os 4 milhões e 700 mil.

A faixa foi produzida por Puth, que também participou da composição ao lado de Jacob Kasher. A canção havia tido uma prévia em fevereiro, mas em uma versão solo. Um mês depois Puth tweetou “sonhei que BTS estava em ‘Left and Right’”. Em 16 de junho a parceria foi confirmada.

“Left and Right” é, inclusive, esperado entre os integrantes do set list do próximo álbum de Charlie Puth. O compositor já trabalha no álbum há alguns anos e o lançamento está previsto para 2022.
