Juno Awards 2023: confira a lista completa dos indicados

Foi divulgada a lista dos indicados para uma das premiações musicais mais reconhecidas do Canadá, a Juno Awards 2023. O evento está previsto para acontecer no dia 13 de março na arena Rogers Place em Edmonton, localizada na província canadense Alberta.

A apresentação da 52ª edição da cerimônia ficará sob responsabilidade do ator sino-canadense Simu Liu, estrela do filme Shang-Chi e a Lenda dos Dez Anéis (2021) do Universo Marvel.

Além disso, de acordo com o site oficial da premiação, haverá diversas apresentações ao vivo: Alexisonfire, AP Dhillon, Aysanabee, Banx & Ranx junto com Preston Pablo e Rêve, Jessie Reyez, Tate McRae e Tenille Townes.

Nesta edição os artistas que mais receberam indicações foram: The Weeknd (em 6 categorias ,como Artista do Ano, Single do Ano - por “Sacrifice”-, Álbum do Ano - por “Dawn FM”-, e Compositor do Ano -; Avril Lavigne e Tate McRae ( com 5 nomeações cada uma).

Considerada a categoria mais importante do evento, o “Artista do Ano” é disputada por artistas como : Avril Lavigne, The Weeknd, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Michael Bublé e Shawn Mendes. Vale lembrar que, nas edições passadas, The Weeknd já foi três vezes vencedor, Mendes conquistou duas vezes a premiação e Bublé ganhou uma.

A única categoria reservada para artistas não canadenses é “Álbum Internacional do Ano”, que neste ano conta com grandes obras: “=”, de Ed Sheeran; “Harry’s House”, de Harry Styles; “Montero”, de Lil Nas X; “Midnights” e “Red (Taylor’s Version)”, de Taylor Swift.
